What’s new

Well folks, things have been busy! I’ve changed jobs and moved into a new role at the bank. I’ve been spending a good chunk of time shadowing and training and getting up to speed with new responsibilities and tasks. I’m loving every minute of it. However, that additional work time means that I’ve been absent on this platform.

You may have also seen me decrease my post cadence on Bookshlf too, and that is also a result of the increased workload. Don’t worry, once I get back to “well-oiled machine” status, I’ll be back posting on the promised schedule.

This edition serves as a layover until I am back on the saddle and writing my thoughts on the markets. Until then, I’ve supplied a handful of links that have kept my brain sharp on the markets.

Did you miss the last edition? No worries! Get it right here and catch up on the madness.

Give these a read

Here are some articles that have been top of my mind lately:

  • Redefining Philanthropy In The Age Of Musk – Heisenberg Report

  • ‘It’s Come To This’: Beyond The Great Supply Chain Crisis – Heisenberg Report

  • ‘The System Has Become Over-Optimized’ – Heisenberg Report

  • Cycles, Civilizations, And Empires - Macro Ops Musings

  • Why Speculation Drives Markets - kyla’s Newsletter

  • The Value of Experts - Net Interest

  • 💥PETITION💥 on Twitter: "ICYMI, we had a great interview with @Debevoise's Natasha Labovitz & Sid Levinson in yesterday's edition of PETITION. A quick recap 🧵

Finally, here is a nice palette cleanser for anyone into music:

Well done. You’ve made it through the madness. I’ve worked hard to ensure that you leave this page having learned something, and I hope that it benefits you in your daily adventure. Thank you again for checking in.
